General Accountant

A innovative market leader in the garment and textile industry based in Bau Bang, Binh Duong is calling for applications for General Accountant.

About the General Accountant Role:

In this role, you will assist in the preparation of mandatory financial reporting, adhering to the local Vietnam regulations and the head office’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping activities of the operation
• Manage cashflow and work with banks and customers for payment
• Handle payroll-related activities, including preparing monthly payroll for locals and expats, insurance registration, as well as employee PIT tasks
• Coordinate with external consultants for all tax and audit matters when needed
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant

To succeed in this General Accountant position, you should have three to five years of work experience in audit or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing and production company. You should be proactive, innovative and entrepreneurial.

Key Requirements:

• Three to five years of experience in audit or accounting
• Manufacturing experience is strongly favourable
• Excellent English skills in both verbal and written communication is a must
• Familiar with ERP systems is a plus
• Hands-on, hard-working, result and quality-oriented
