Assistant Finance Manager

About the Assistant Finance Manager role:

The Assistant Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and providing support to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Review and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that all invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information
• Manage the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial analysis to support business decisions
• Provide support to the Finance Manager as needed, including ad-hoc reporting and special projects
• Supervise and train accounting staff as needed

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Five years of experience in accounting, with two to three years in a management role
• Experience in a manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good English communication
