What you'll do:
As the Chief Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the firm's accounting functions. Your responsibilities will span across various areas such as general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable handling, payroll processing, and financial reporting. You will ensure that all financial statements are prepared in compliance with accounting standards while overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Your expertise in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) will be crucial in administering payroll processing, tax calculations, and employee benefits. You will also liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions while ensuring adherence to local and international financial regulations.
- Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Handle all aspects of Compensation & Benefits (C&B), including payroll processing, tax calculations, and employee benefits administration.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. and Chief Accountant Certificate.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) management.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
