General Accountant (Houseware Manufacturing)

Our client is an FDI company with nearly 30 years of history, a pioneer in the furniture manufacturing industry, with multiple factories across Vietnam. They are now looking for a General Accountant to join their Vinh Long plant, supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Do

1. General Ledger Accounting

• Record, review, and reconcile all accounting transactions in the ERP system.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for monthly closing.

• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure alignment with sub-ledgers (AR/AP, Inventory, Fixed Assets).

2. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).

• Support management in preparing financial analysis and variance reports.

• Assist in budgeting, cost allocation, and internal reporting as required.

3. Compliance & Taxation

• Prepare and submit tax reports (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT).

• Ensure transactions comply with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.

• Support external auditors and tax authorities during audits or inspections.

4. Coordination & Support

• Collaborate closely with AR, AP, and Costing teams to ensure data consistency.

• Support the Chief Accountant in improving accounting procedures and internal controls.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

• 3–5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in manufacturing or FDI environments.

• Strong understanding of VAS, tax laws, and ERP systems.

• Proficiency in English for internal and external communication.

• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and team-oriented mindset.
