Assistant Accounting Manager (Based in Binh Duong)

Our client is a UK-headquartered manufacturing group with operations across Asia, specializing in high-end furniture exports. Known for their strong compliance and global partnerships, they are now expanding their finance team in Binh Duong and seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to work directly with the Chief Accountant on reporting, tax, and system improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting (50%)

• Maintain and develop VAS/IFRS chart of accounts and accounting policies.

• Supervise GL and Tax accountants to ensure compliance and accurate postings.

• Review monthly reconciliations: bank, loan, fixed assets, AP/AR, balance sheet.

• Be responsible for monthly OVH reports and annual reporting templates.

• Ensure timely adjustment of missed or incorrect transactions and support issue resolution.

2. Tax Compliance (20%)

• Manage VAT, WHT/FCWT, License Tax, and CIT submissions (monthly, quarterly, yearly).

• Review VAT reconciliations, tax documents, and prepare audit-ready working papers.

• Monitor tax risks, regulation updates, and VAT refund procedures.

3. Treasury Support (10%)

• Prepare reports related to loan contracts with VCB/TCB.

• Assist with cash flow forecasts and propose ways to optimize interest cost.

4. Process Improvement & Projects (20%)

• Participate in ERP implementation and financial system improvements.

• Lead initiatives to optimize month-end closing and address audit findings.

• Identify inefficiencies and propose continuous improvement actions.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• At least 5 years of experience, with 1–2 years in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and IFRS

• Familiar with tax regulations and compliance (VAT, CIT, WHT, etc.)

• Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional coordination

• Good communication in Vietnamese & English; able to work cross-functionally.
