Senior Finance Manager

One of the most highly recognisable companies in the Engineering and Technology field is calling for applications for a Senior Finance Manager, based in Ho Chi Minh City.

About the Senior Finance Manager Role:
You will report to the General Managers of the business. Your main responsibilities are to be in charge of all accounting and finance activities of the business, including handling financial accounting consolidation matters of the legal entities, preparing all internal and external reports, as well as controlling all finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit all relevant internal and external reports, including IFRS reports and local VAS statutory reports, year-end audit, tax report (VAT, WHT, tax refund, tax audit etc.)
• Responsible for treasury including capital management and banking relationship
• In charge of business controlling processes, including budgeting, forecast, planning and analysis etc.
• Finance business partner with commercial teams for trading businesses
• Manage and develop the finance and accounting team
• Work with regional finance team on ad hoc tasks such as training etc.
• Coordinate with relevant departments, when necessary, for all legal requirements, capital injections, insurance etc.
• Assess and monitor company policies including travel and expenses claim, credit policy, banking and payment processing policies

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Eight-10 years of work experience in multinational companies, with two years at high-level management positions
• Deep knowledge about IFRS, local GAAP and tax system, banking regulations
• Solid experience in reporting and consolidation
• Experienced with SAP and/or Power BI is a plus
• Deadline-driven, hands on, with strong leadership, negotiation and time management skills
• Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders including senior management
• Able to work well in a shared services model
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese
