Head of Finance & Accounting (Technology Company in Hanoi)

My client is a leading SaaS and software development group with US investment and is seeking a Head of Finance & Accounting to lead group-wide financial strategy, digital transformation, and financial governance. Reporting directly to the Executive Board, this role plays a critical part in driving performance, strengthening financial operations, and supporting long-term growth across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all financial, accounting, taxation, compliance, and internal control activities for the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash flow planning, and financial optimisation across business units.
• Develop financial and management reporting systems with deep analysis of revenue, cost, profit, cash flow, and operational performance.
• Drive financial digital transformation, including ERP, budgeting systems, BI tools, and real-time analytics.
• Lead financial due diligence (FDD), modelling, and risk assessment for investment and M&A projects.
• Partner closely with business, product, marketing, and strategy teams to provide financial insights for decision-making and business planning.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team with strong data and technology orientation.
• Establish and manage enterprise-wide financial risk frameworks and ensure full compliance with audit, tax, and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Need

1. Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or international equivalents) preferred

2. Experience

• At least 5 years in senior finance leadership roles (Deputy CFO, Head of Finance, Chief Accountant, or equivalent).
• Experience in large-scale organisations (1,000+ employees, revenue above USD 50M).
• Strong advantage if experienced in technology, SaaS, or multinational environments.

3. Skills & Competencies

• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial thinking.
• Proven leadership of multi-level finance teams with focus on performance and transparency.
• Excellent communication with senior executives, investors, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong English proficiency, especially in reporting, analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Tech-driven financial mindset with solid understanding of ERP, BI, and data-driven financial management.
