What you'll do:

As a Senior Finance Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will play an integral part in driving the organisation’s financial health by offering strategic advice rooted in thorough analysis. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with senior leaders to shape business direction through sound fiscal planning. You will oversee all aspects of corporate finance including cash flow monitoring, investment oversight, tax compliance, insurance administration, treasury functions, audit coordination, budget preparation, forecasting activities, and foreign exchange management. By analysing key financial metrics such as revenues and liabilities you will provide accurate forecasts that inform both immediate actions and long-term strategies. Presenting clear reports to management will be essential for transparency while your advisory role ensures that evolving regulations are navigated smoothly.

  • Provide strategic recommendations and consultation to management by delivering insightful financial analysis on projects, cost identification, and allocation to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop and direct all corporate financial functions to ensure transactions, policies, and procedures align with organisational objectives while adhering to regional regulations and standards.
  • Oversee credit control processes, monitor cash flow positions, manage investments, tax matters, insurance coverage, treasury activities, external audits, budgeting cycles, forecasting exercises, and foreign exchange operations.
  • Analyse revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other key financial indicators to forecast short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow positions for the organisation.
  • Present comprehensive financial reports and detailed analyses during management meetings to facilitate transparent communication of financial performance.
  • Advise senior management on complex financial matters as well as the potential impact of current and future laws or regulations on business operations.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the organisation’s financial strategy by maintaining consistency with established guidelines and best practices.
  • Review periodic financial reports thoroughly before presenting findings and actionable recommendations to management for further consideration.
  • Provide technical expertise on financial issues to help management develop revenue and expense budgets while also supporting their understanding of financial reports.

What you bring:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or finance; holding CPA or ACCA qualifications (or equivalent) is highly desirable for this position.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen with an ability to identify value-added changes that drive achievement of organisational goals.
  • Showcase excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record as a dedicated team player who supports colleagues’ success.
  • Display sensitivity towards regulatory requirements ensuring all activities comply with local laws as well as international standards where applicable.
  • Bring experience in preparing detailed budgets along with proficiency in forecasting future trends based on rigorous data analysis.
