Finance Manager

An exciting Finance Manager role has become available at a global sustainability company that works closely with manufacturers, designers, and wholesalers across Vietnam.

About the Finance Manager Role:

Reporting to the Country Director, the Finance Manager oversees all financial transactions, procurement and financial administration, ensuring that the company is meeting all of its financial and legal requirements, and that all financial policies and procedures are being followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide relevant, timely and detail-oriented financial processing and project accounting support to the Country Director and Vietnam team
• Oversees the accounts receivable and accounts payable systems and processes and ensures the appropriate action is accurate, timely and in compliance with current accounting standards, policies and contract terms
• As directed, apply the chart of accounts and monitor financial policies and procedures in order to ensure consistent application of accounting and financial services
• Review the monthly financial budget forecast report with the Country Director and make any budget allocation changes as required
• Manage the payroll, produce information required for payroll bank transfers, administer employee benefits and prepare and file all necessary payroll remittances for government taxes
• Manage regulatory reporting as required under the Vietnamese government and tax authorities
• Manage all permits, registrations, licenses, filings and ensure they are prepared accordingly and on time
• Coordinate the import documentation with HO and Clearing Agent on shipments to Vietnam

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Six to eight year’s related experience in a commercial department
• Degree or certificate in accounting or Bachelor of Commerce degree
• Previous experience in payroll administration is preferred
• Experience preparing purchase orders and analysing financial reports
• Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese business written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of procedures pertaining to cash management, accounts payable and receivables, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of financial management policies and procedures, including those related to expense authority
• Ability to organise, interpret and analyse numeric information to identify and assess inaccuracies and to develop explanations and solutions
