Finance Manager

An leading multinational FMCG company, headquartered in France, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam is looking for a Finance Manager for their newly set up legal entity.

About the Finance Manager Role:

You will report to the Regional Head of Finance based overseas. Your main responsibilities are to be in charge of all accounting, finance and reporting activities of the business, whilst being a trusted partner with the commercials teams in Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all financial, management and statutory reporting
• Manage financial closing including determination, preparation and supporting any accruals / provisions as needed
• Timely preparation and submission of monthly actual performance, rolling forecast, strategic plans and any other submission or reports as needed
• Work with cross-functional teams ensure smooth delivery of the sales & profit commitment
• Preparation of monthly rolling forecasts updated with latest business situation and demand supply planning assumptions
• In charge of finance business partnering & and financial controlling process
• Preparation of business scenarios & simulations to be used for discussion or decision making
• Develop and enforce tools to monitor performance of all relevant KPIs, including OPEX tracking against forecast / plans
• Proposing the appropriate resource allocation options and evaluation of investment proposal by commercial team (e.g. ROIs and post mortem analysis)
• Preparation of product and customer profitability with key conclusions and / or recommendations
• Ensures compliance to internal and external accounting standards & controls

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, having ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW would be a plus
• At least five years of similar work experience, preferably with Big 4 background
• Experience in FMCG or Healthcare industry is a plus
• Technically skilled and mathematically inclined, having the ability to link the numbers to commercial logic is a plus
• Can work under pressure, ability to multi-tasking and prioritising workload, result-driven individual contributor
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Advanced level of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Power Point etc.), preferably with experience in SAP, Power BI, Hyperion etc.
