Applications are now open for the role of Senior Finance Manager at a prominent manufacturing company located in the North of Vietnam.
About the Senior Finance Manager Role:
The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the company. This includes overseeing the accounting department, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The Senior Finance Manager will work closely with other members of the management team to ensure that financial objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and authorise payments and borrowings, ensuring compliance and proper authorisation
- Lead price checking committee to prevent fraud and corruption in procurement
- Monitor month-end closing process and review standalone GLs for accuracy
- Oversee preparation of consolidated and standalone financial statements
- Analyse consolidated financial packages, identifying abnormal items and significant account movements
- Coordinate with headquarter to prepare consolidated group financial statements on a regular basis
- Prepare P&L and cash flow forecasts for accurate financial projections
- Collaborate with external auditors, bankers, and lawyers on financial audits and support sales department in costing and pricing decisions
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
- University graduation, major in Accounting and Finance
- A minimum of five years financial experience/practice at a senior level
- Experience in audit with one of the Big 4 companies or similar position in a large manufacturing group with diverse subsidiaries.
- Familiarity with IFRS / IAS / VAS and group consolidation accounting
- Skilled in SAP system or similar ERP system
- Excellent English
