Assistant to CFO

Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable Assistant to CFO. This role is based in Hanoi as their headquaters (Ho Chi Minh City location can be considered). The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the company's budget and expenditures, ensuring compliance with regulations. They will also handle all taxation matters, as well as team management.

What you'll do:

• Review revenue and expense items in accordance with approved budget plans.
• Verify data and documentation for revenue and expenses to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and submit tax reports and periodic tax declarations.
• Provide explanations, documents, and data to auditing units, tax inspection teams, and government agencies.
• Address inquiries related to accounting as well as issues raised by other departments concerning tax policies.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Auditing/Finance.
• 7-10 years’ work experience in accounting/audit/tax at large-scaled companies or technology/IT/software services business. Big 4 background highly preferred.
• Solid in financial reporting with strong knowledge of taxation, with proven experience handling tax matters and working with tax authorities.
• Highly skilled in budget controlling and financial analysis, especially within a partly Private Equity investment set up.
• International study/work experience is a strong plus, with strong English communication (both written and verbal) required.
• Highly responsible, with integrity, sharp communication and stakeholder management skills.
