Our client, a world's leading French manufacturing and trading company, is seeking a Manager in Commercial Finance and FP&A to join their team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic financial leadership within a globally recognised organisation.
Reporting to the Country Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for gross margin forecasting and analysis, commercial finance business partnering, marketing budget control, continuous improvement initiatives, comprehensive reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, transfer pricing management, and SAP & tools management.
What you'll do:
- Gross Margin Forecasting & Analysis: Provide accurate forecasts and analyze performance against budgets and previous years.
- Business Partnering: Support Sales and Marketing with GM analysis, challenge proposals, ensure compliance, and consult on operational processes.
- Marketing Budget Control: Monitor internal orders and evaluate performance against budgets.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance procedures and promotion schemes for efficiency and compliance from a financial perspective,
- Reporting: Develop comprehensive reporting packages and perform key ratio analysis.
- Financial Analysis: Provide commercially-driven analysis for ad-hoc projects.
- Budgeting: Coordinate budgeting processes and prepare financial documents.
- Transfer Pricing: Manage disclosure requirements and compliance documentation.
- SAP & Tools Management: Oversee processes in SAP and use other tools such as Power BI for reporting purposes.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related, with professional qualifications preferred e.g. ACCA, CMA
- 7-10 years' work experience in Commercial Finance Business Partnering and/or Financial Planning & Analysis, including at least 2 years in managerial level.
- Experienced in FMCG environment is an advantage.
- SAP experience is a must, with Power BI/Tableau experience.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong business acumen, proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
