Senior Leader - Controlling & Accounting (Europe company)

Our client is a European industrial company with a strong global presence in engineered products and technical solutions. The Vietnam subsidiary is responsible for sales, distribution, project execution and technical support, operating closely with the General Manager in Vietnam, the regional office in Malaysia, and the headquarters in Europe.

What You’ll Do

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring internal and Group deadlines are met.

• Handle annual accounts, tax documentation, and coordinate with external auditors.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, IFRS, and maintain accurate accounting processes.

• Ensure timely payment of all statutory liabilities.

Controlling, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Deliver weekly and monthly Controlling reports.

• Prepare Budget, MTP and Forecasts according to Group formats and timelines.

• Analyse controlling data and provide proactive insights to management.

Systems, Processes & Group Coordination

• Ensure effective use of SAP and financial systems.

• Collaborate with Group Accounting & Controlling to implement policy and system updates.

• Oversee the credit control function in line with company and Group requirements.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting plus Chief Accountant Certificate.

• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, IFRS and tax laws.

• At least 5 years of accounting experience in an international environment.

• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office and financial IT tools.

• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work with regional/global stakeholders.
