Financial Controller (HCMC)

A leading company in health services industry based in HCMC is calling applications for a Financial Controller.

About the Financial Controller Role:

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the company's financial statements are made in accordance with the stipulated time
• Prepare and manage the annual budget and make forecasts and plans based on that data
• Ensure the company's financial statements comply with and align with local, governmental, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Improve the schedule for receiving reports from accountants, and the quality of each report
• Regular reconciliation between Management reports (group standard) with Financial Statements (VAS), minimising discrepancies; All discrepancies must be properly explained
• Monitor the company's balance sheet
• Manage accounting staffs

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Major degree in accounting or finance
• At least three years of experience in a supervisory or controller position. Background in Big 4 is a plus.
• Familiar with local GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
• Proficient in ERP software
• Fluent in English is required
