Regional Controller - Accounting Reporting & Analysis (Global)

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, the Regional Controller - Accounting, Reporting and Analysis will play a pivotal role in shaping financial operations across the region. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, this role leads accounting and reporting deliverables, manages audits, oversees shared services, and collaborates closely with senior leadership and Group Finance in Europe to drive compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement of processes.

What you'll do:

• Oversee accounting and statutory filings for all entities in the region.
• Review and sign off statutory accounts and management certifications.
• Lead accounting integration of new acquisitions, including opening balance sheet work.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reporting in line with group policies and IFRS.
• Analyze balance sheet movements, variances to budget/forecast, and ensure reconciliations are documented.
• Drive consistency and efficiency in reporting deliverables, aligning with group standards.
• Partner with senior finance leadership to enhance and standardize financial reporting, systems, and processes.
• Promote best‑practice month‑end closing with a reporting target of short turnover time.
• Provide technical accounting analysis for complex transactions and contracts.
• Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, monitoring performance against targets.
• Implement approved accounting methods and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Lead regional compliance, audit, and risk procedures.
• Ensure KPI data is submitted accurately and on time.
• Deliver financial analysis to inform strategic decisions, including capex reviews, acquisitions, and expansion projects.

What you bring:

• 12-15 years' work experience in Accounting ad Controlling, including at least 5 years in leadership and senior management positions, with a proven track record in driving change and establishing robust processes and controls.
• Exposure to multi-countries, multi-entities and/or cross-border environments within multinational companies required; prior Big 4 Audit experience highly preferred.
• Deep knowledge and strong expertise in statutory compliance, reporting, consolidation, and business planning.
• Advanced technical skills in Excel and proficiency in ERP systems.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ACA, CIMA/CGMA, or CPA advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills; able to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Analytical and detail‑oriented, with the ability to provide insights that shape business performance and add value.
• Collaborative team player with high integrity, proactive mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent English skills including verbal and written are a must.
