- Perform detailed financial analysis on brand performance, focusing on revenue, margin, operating profit, and working capital.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management, emphasizing key insights and trends.
- Create and implement strategies to boost gross margins, including pricing optimization, cost reduction, and product mix analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to enhance margins.
- Work with brand managers to set targets and plans for better operating profits.
- Review operating expenses to find cost-saving opportunities without affecting brand growth.
- Oversee and optimize working capital metrics like inventory turnover, accounts receivable, and payable days per brand.
- Implement strategies to improve working capital efficiency while maintaining inventory balance.
- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for each brand, ensuring accuracy and feasibility in financial plans.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, considering market trends, competition, and regulations.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Commercial Finance Controller role will bring a wealth of experience and a strong skill set. You should hold a degree in Finance or Accounting, with Big 4 advisory/audit experience or CFA certification being a significant advantage. Your proven experience in FBP/Controlling, coupled with your strong financial modeling and analytical skills, will be key to your success in this role. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as you will need to simplify complex financial concepts for various stakeholders. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. - Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Big 4 advisory/audit experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in FBP/Controlling. At least 8 years experience in Finance Controlling or Finance Business Partnering role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
- Ability to achieve results through collaboration, persuasion, and relationship building.
