A world’s leading FMCG and retail brand is calling for applications for an Internal Control Manager, based in Ho Chi Minh City.

About the Internal Control Manager Role:

You will report directly to the Country CFO. Your main responsibilities are to set up, monitor and review internal control processes for the business, ensuring effectiveness of risk management procedures of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, monitor and control risk management processes in line with the regional framework and local regulations
• Work closely with local and regional stakeholders on mitigation actions for different risks identified
• Review internal control procedures and provide relevant advice for BU leaders
• Support CFO with financial controlling reviews and other ad-hoc tasks
• Carry out internal control and risk management training regarding best practices for key stakeholders
• Be the key contact point to work with external authorities (e.g. tax authorities, auditors) where relevant

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• At least eight years’ work experience in audit / internal control / risk management, ideally with two to four years in managerial positions
• Experienced in retail or FMCG is a plus
• Big 4 background is preferable
• Highly proactive with problem-solving mindset, able to deal effectively with different stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
