Senior Manager Risk and Compliance - Asset Management

What You’ll Do
As a Senior Manager / Manager, Risk & Compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring the company’s operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, particularly in relation to investment activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct ongoing and periodic compliance monitoring in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Perform daily investment compliance monitoring through systems and reports, coordinating with internal stakeholders, custodians, and regulators
- Review, update, and implement investment rules and limits in collaboration with the Investment team and regional rule coding team
- Monitor and report AML transactions, ensuring timely escalation of suspicious activities
- Support regulatory reporting and liaise with local authorities and supervisory bodies
- Identify and assess risks, maintain risk registers, and support risk monitoring and reporting activities
- Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with group standards and local regulations
- Deliver compliance training and promote a strong compliance culture across the organization
- Support the Head of Risk & Compliance in audits, inspections, and reporting to regional and global stakeholders
What You’ll Need
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field
- At least 7–10 years of experience in Risk and/or Compliance within financial services (e.g. asset management, securities, banking, or insurance)
- Proven experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and risk management frameworks
- Exposure to investment-related activities or asset management operations is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance practices in Vietnam
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply regulations effectively
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a business-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
