Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Tax Lead to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of tax-related responsibilities within a globally recognised organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the preparation of tax reports, reconciliation of tax books, and consultation on tax issues.
What you'll do:
As a Tax Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's tax-related activities. Your responsibilities will include everything from accrual of tax expenses to consulting on various tax issues. You will also be tasked with preparing comprehensive tax reports and reconciling them with local tax authorities. Your role will extend beyond just handling numbers; you will also be expected to maintain relationships with external and internal audits. Your ability to coach and evaluate your team's performance will be key to your success in this role.
- Accrual of tax expenses and preparation of necessary journal vouchers
- Reviewing and reporting of all company tax returns
- Reviewing all tax risks in the company and reporting them
- Reconciliation of tax book vs local tax authorities reports
- Preparing group tax reporting package
- Consolidating/preparing VAT/CIT/ withholding tax reports to local tax department
- Handling local tax files and transfer pricing issues
- Consulting on tax issues vs business lines
- Maintaining relationship/ working with Tax audit/ External and Internal audit
- Monitoring, preparing, checking, verifying monthly/yearly results reports
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Tax Lead position, you bring a strong educational background in Finance & Accounting from a reputable university. You are preferably ACCA qualified which showcases your commitment towards professional development in the field of finance. Your fluency in English, both written and spoken, enables you to communicate effectively within a global setting. You possess good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and ideally have experience using SUN & Vision. Above all, your excellent communication skills set you apart as a leader.
- Graduated from University of Economy, specialised in Finance & Accounting
- ACCA qualification is preferable
- Fluent English in writing and speaking
- Computer skills: using MS offices. Knowledge of SUN & Vision is preferable
- Good communication skills
