Project Manager

A Project Manager or a senior project manager is needed to project manage the detailed design phase and subsequent construction phases of a major project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Project Manager will be focusing on the mechanical and electrical / MEP side of the project.

About the Project Manager Role:

The Senior Project Manager shall report to Project Director, and will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host meetings with consultants where necessary
• Coordinate, monitor and report on progress of consultants against programmes and scope of works
• Coordinate reviews of design stages submissions pre and post issuance to client, for quality assurance
• Coordinate and support on administration where necessary for statutory design submissions with design consultants and approvals / submissions consultants
• Engage with all relevant internal and external stakeholders where necessary
• Lead on all aspects health and safety related
• Contribute to monthly reporting
• Utilise and manage common data environment / document control system effectively
• Establish and maintain relationships with third consultants / contractors / suppliers

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent command of English and have extensive experience in MEP project management.

Key Requirements:

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience
• A Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• Strong in MEP projects
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Experience working in Vietnam is preferable
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, SharePoint, & AutoCAD
