An exciting role of General Manager has just become available in a new Sourcing Office in furniture industry in Vietnam. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, this company aims to be the leader in its sector.
About the General Manager Role:
In this position, you will be in charge and fully responsible for all of furniture proceed and processing, follow up and work with factories for processing on all of furniture items.
- Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production Manager
- In charge and fully responsible for all of furniture proceed and processing, follow up and work with Factories for processing on all of furniture items
- Collect information to Product Specification (Production Document), transfer to QC Department, support on time for internal inspection and outsource inspection
- Work with outsource suppliers for materials orders to make sure everything correct and on time delivery (PO - Purchasing Order)
- Work with customers to get all information, specification from designer, work with construction, structure drawings, upload drawings for customer review and comments, sent suggestion and discuss with designer to find the best solution, collect information and confirmations from Factories to Montague UK
- You will lead a team of Merchandiser, QC team and supervise all the tasks of the sourcing office staff
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in working with middle-end and high-end furniture.
- At least five years' experience as a Sourcing Manager or Merchandiser Manager in a Sourcing office in Furniture industry in Vietnam
- Good track record
- Strong communication skills
