Production Section Manager (Automotive Industry)

An exciting Production Section Manager job has arisen in an European automotive part company in Dong Nai Vietnam.

About the Production Section Manager Role:

Reporting to the Head of Production / GM , you will be responsible for the manufacturing activity of a section in production lines (one section consisting of 50-100 headcounts).

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing production floor layout, material flow, time study, line balancing, labor, WIP standard, line supply plan, shelves, trolleys, in plant boxes, and bins for each process to achieve Lean Manufacturing target each year.
• Studying overall production capacity, identify bottleneck (constraint), and apply I.E. techniques to maximise productivity with optimum level of resources.
• Periodically validating standard time, identifying the gap and inputting the update standard time in ERP for business reporting and further estimation.
• Implementing and conforming to company business operating procedures, customer requirements, industry standard, laws and regulations.

To succeed in this role, you must have good command of English.

• Ability to work independently or manage a team
• Working experience from automotive industry (understand about IATF 16949 standard)
