About the Lean Manager Role:
In this position, you will lead a team dedicated to improving efficiency, quality, and cost management across all departments of the organisation through process improvement and implementing lean principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of Lean strategies and initiatives across the organisation, with a focus on methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement
Manage a team of Lean specialists and provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful execution of Lean projects
Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and staff to identify process improvement opportunities, set improvement goals, and drive projects to completion
Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, areas of improvement, and cost-saving opportunities
Develop and implement training programs to build Lean awareness and capability among employees at all levels of the organisation
Promote the use of Lean tools and techniques to eliminate waste, reduce lead times, and enhance overall process efficiency
Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of Lean principles and sustain improvements over time
Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation, encouraging employees at all levels to actively participate in Lean activities
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
Proven experience in implementing Lean methodologies and driving process improvements in manufacturing operations and other departments
Excellent English communication
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and presentation abilities
Change management experience is desirable
Experience with Lean software and data analysis tools
