About this Engineering Project Manager Role:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will act as a bridge between the upper management and the people who are actually responsible for the execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and developing the project idea
• Developing and leading the team of your dreams
• Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project
• Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects
• Identify and resolve issues that arise
• Ensure satisfaction with stakeholders
• Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
• Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
• Performance evaluation of the project
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
• Manage relationships between vendors and stakeholders
• Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
• Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
• Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
• Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation

In order to succeed in this role, the person needs to be familiar with project management role for sourcing office in furniture industry.

Key Requirements

• At least five years of furniture experience
• Knowledge of furniture material, hardware, and packing
• Familiar with Furniture design, construction, standards, as well as development and manufacturing processes
• Finishing knowledge of traditional and modern furniture
• Solid experience in project management
