Regional Sourcing Manager (U.S Sourcing Office)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sourcing Manager to lead their sourcing operations. What you'll do:

As a Regional Sourcing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's sourcing operations. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive research on potential suppliers and manufacturers while managing relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors. You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and evaluating suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing and reliability of supply. Your analytical skills will come into play as you verify and analyze financial data about potential business partners. You will also support Product Development functions and participate in strategic planning for the category.

• Conduct research on potential suppliers and manufacturers
• Manage relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors
• Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet the organization’s standards
• Verify and analyze financial, competitive sales, market data about potential business partners
• Support Product Development functions
• Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the category
• Establish or build relationships with all key suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, supplier agreement, terms volume commitment and conditions with new suppliers

With a Bachelor’s Degree in business, Supply Chain, Mechanical, Material Science or Engineering under your belt, you are well-versed in organizing and prioritizing work. • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Supply Chain, Mechanical, Material Science, Engineering
• 10+ years in Sourcing and procurement function in plumbing or distribution industry
• Chinese and English language competency required
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management software
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
