  • Benefit from flexible working opportunities and access to comprehensive training programmes designed to support your professional development in a nurturing environment.

What you'll do:

As an Industrial Engineering Manager based in Binh Duong, you will be entrusted with overseeing the end-to-end optimisation of manufacturing processes within a thriving furniture production environment. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine workflows, establish robust work instructions, set precise cycle time standards, and implement innovative solutions that elevate productivity. You will nurture your team's growth through hands-on guidance while ensuring that all technical requirements are met efficiently. By championing continuous improvement projects—ranging from material yield enhancements to equipment readiness—you will help create an environment where operational excellence is not just achieved but sustained. Your ability to connect with others, share knowledge generously, and foster a sense of togetherness will be instrumental in building a dependable team that consistently delivers outstanding results.

  • Guide and manage a team responsible for creating, reviewing, and approving production processes for all products prior to manufacturing commencement, ensuring feedback from production is incorporated into ongoing improvements.
  • Oversee the development of critical work instructions by your team, including thorough review, approval, and delivery of effective training sessions to ensure understanding across departments.
  • Direct the accurate measurement of cycle times for each product or group of products, establishing standardised benchmarks that drive consistency and efficiency throughout the production process.
  • Champion initiatives aimed at improving process yield for materials such as wood veneer, MDF, or glue, as well as optimising factory layout and machinery utilisation through collaborative projects.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and planning teams to guarantee timely availability of JIGs and moulds required for seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and enhance overall process efficiency by identifying areas for capital expenditure review and implementing sustainable improvements that benefit both workflow and output quality.
  • Ensure technical compliance by analysing product tech packs and resolving any issues encountered on the production floor with empathy and attention to detail.
  • Promote lean manufacturing concepts within your team by encouraging knowledge sharing and supporting the adoption of best practices across all stages of production.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation related to process management, balancing production lines, workstation arrangements, finishing techniques, and packing procedures.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere where every team member feels valued for their contributions towards achieving collective goals.

What you bring:

To excel as an Industrial Engineering Manager in this setting, you will draw upon extensive experience gained over at least ten years in industrial engineering roles—ideally within furniture or similar manufacturing sectors—and five years spent nurturing teams as a considerate leader. Your educational background equips you with theoretical insights while your practical know-how allows you to navigate complex technical challenges with ease. You are adept at using digital tools for process documentation and design tasks; your proficiency in English ensures smooth collaboration across multicultural teams. Most importantly, your approach is rooted in empathy: you listen actively to colleagues’ perspectives, encourage open dialogue during problem-solving sessions on the factory floor, and always strive for solutions that benefit everyone involved. Your commitment to lean methodologies reflects not only technical competence but also a genuine desire to share knowledge generously so that every member of your team can grow alongside you.

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial management or a related field provides you with the foundational knowledge necessary for this role.
  • At least 10 years’ experience as an industrial engineer ensures you bring deep expertise in process optimisation within manufacturing environments.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a leadership position demonstrates your ability to guide teams with empathy and foster collaborative success.
  • Proficiency in English at an intermediate level enables effective communication across diverse teams.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office are essential for managing documentation; familiarity with AutoCAD or Inventor is considered an advantage for technical tasks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of furniture manufacturing processes—from white wood preparation through finishing to packing—enables you to oversee complex workflows confidently.
  • Demonstrated experience in workflow management, balancing production lines, arranging workstations, and maintaining efficient operations is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical abilities allow you to assess product tech packs accurately while resolving challenges on the shop floor with sensitivity.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles supports your commitment to continuous improvement through shared learning initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills empower you to build trust-based relationships within your team and across departments.
