HSSE & Facility Manager

Exciting HSSE & Facility Manager position has just come available in global MNCs in manufacturing with facility around Ho Chi Minh City area. The main focus of the role is on HSSE and with the additional responsibility to take care company's facility and utilities.

About the HSSE & Facility Manager Role:

Reporting to Head of Manufacturing entity in Vietnam, and work closely with regional team the HSSE & Facility Manager shall provide leadership, direction and expertise consultation regarding health, safety, environment, security and facility management of the site in Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate management practices and projects conducted to improve organisational culture maturity level
• Drive communication and consultation implementation processes for EHS related matters for all stakeholders
• Implement activities to monitor EHS performance with consideration to organisation's business goals and vision at strategic and operational levels
• Drive development of risk management plans and strategies for work processes and work areas
• Facilitate strategic and operational plans to address and improve control of EHS hazards, risks and costs
• Conduct risk assessment for all tasks and working conditions
• Provide leadership in EHS and act as a role model of good EHS practice and professionalism to management, co-workers, and other stakeholders
• Monitor employees and contractors to ensure they comply with EHS requirements
• Update internal and external EHS information, regulations, standards and good practices related to the organisation

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Engineering background with minimum three years in similar position in manufacturing and production industries
• Strong communication, hands on and engaging
• Fluent English
• Knowledge and experience with sustainability is a plus
