Health, Safety & Environment Manager Location: Binh Duong Salary: Competitive, based on experience

A leading manufacturing company in Binh Duong is looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead, strengthen, and continuously improve its environmental and occupational health & safety systems. This is a key role for an experienced professional who is passionate about protecting people, ensuring compliance, and driving a strong safety culture across a dynamic manufacturing environment.

As the HSE Manager, you will develop and refine policies, oversee risk management, lead incident investigations, and ensure the business meets ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, guide behavioural change, and build a proactive approach to safety and environmental stewardship. The role comes with strong support from leadership, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative workplace committed to continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development, implementation, and improvement of HSE policies aligned with legal and corporate standards.
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and internal procedures; stay updated on evolving HSE requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and introduce effective mitigation measures.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses; implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Design and manage emergency response plans, including fire safety and chemical handling.
  • Conduct regular audits following ISO 14001/45001 frameworks and the PDCA cycle.
  • Deliver training programmes for employees and contractors on OHS, first aid, fire safety, and hazard awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports for management and authorities, and oversee HSE documentation.
  • Assess contractor and supplier compliance with the organisation’s standards.
  • Promote open communication and awareness on safety and environmental responsibilities.
  • Manage HSE budgets and liaise with regulatory bodies where required.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, OHS Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (NEBOSH, CSP, CIH, etc.) are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HSE management role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with practical audit experience.
  • Ability to influence, train, and engage employees at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, analytical thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset.
