What you'll do:

As a Lean Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement efficient lean manufacturing processes that align with the company's objectives. You will analyse existing workflows, identify areas of waste, and develop strategies for improvement. Additionally, you will create SOPs for these new processes and provide training to staff members. Collaborating with various teams across the organisation, you will drive process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your commitment to continuous learning and adaptation will enable you to stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate them into your strategies.

  • Design and implement lean manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency
  • Analyse current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lean manufacturing processes
  • Provide training to production staff on lean manufacturing principles and techniques
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all lean manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct data analysis to measure the effectiveness of lean manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for further improvement
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in lean manufacturing and recommend changes to processes and procedures as necessary

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Lean Process Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in process engineering, particularly within a lean manufacturing context. With a bachelor's degree in Process Engineering or a related field, you have spent several years honing your skills and have a proven track record of success. Your ability to identify and eliminate waste in business processes is matched by your proficiency with process simulation software, data analysis tools, and CAD software. You are well-versed in Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and 5S, and hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher. Your strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and capacity to lead cross-functional teams make you an ideal fit for this role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Process engineering or Chemical engineering or Industrial engineering or a related field
  • Several years of experience with proven track record in process engineering, preferably with a focus on lean principles and manufacturing
  • Ability to identify and eliminate waste in business processes
  • Proficiency with process simulation software, data analysis tools, and CAD software
  • Proficiency in Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and 5S
  • Certification of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
