Our client is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee repair & maintenance activities at their site in Binh Duong Province, Vietnam. This role is pivotal in managing technical troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of procedures, specifications, and other written aids used for training and operation of the machineries.

- Direct the work of the Engineering team

What you'll do:
As a Technical Manager, you will be directly managing repair & maintenance activities for the site. You will be responsible for managing technical troubleshooting. Your role includes preparing and implementing procedures, specifications, and other written aids used for training and operation of the production lines. You will ensure that all production employees are trained in all areas of operations for optimal product yields, quality standards, and efficiency results.
Manage the nonwoven process lines ensuring high performance
- Direct the work of the Production Team and Engineering team to achieve high performance
- Set up procedures and standards to measure performance of each team
- Convert daily reports into graphed data to check progress and ensure continuous improvement
- Analyze work delays and quality issues to discover and remedy root cause problems
- Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and policies
- Involved in staffing, continuous improvement, product quality, productivity, EHS implementation and 5S practice
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Technical Manager position brings a university degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a nonwoven manufacturing environment. You have proven your ability to lead teams towards achieving production goals and objectives. Your proficiency in using multiple data sources for analysis has resulted in successful implementation of action plans. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively interface with all levels of management and employees.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial technology or Industrial Management or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in nonwoven manufacturing environment (thermal bond, air through, spunlace, needle punch or latex bond) with large knowledge of carding machine
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Proficiency in using multiple data sources and reports to conduct analysis resulting in implementation of action plans.
- Good communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of management and employees.
- Strong change management skills to challenge the status quo and drive improvements in a fast changing environment
