Technical Manager Location: Binh Duong Salary: Competitive, based on experience

A leading international manufacturing company in Binh Duong is looking for a Technical Manager to lead its Technical Department and support the next phase of growth. This role is responsible for defining technical strategy, ensuring high product quality and regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Technical Department to meet production, quality, and business objectives.
  • Define and implement technical strategies aligned with long-term manufacturing capabilities.
  • Plan, evaluate, and manage new machinery, tooling, and equipment acquisitions, including installation and commissioning.
  • Ensure optimal performance of CNC machines and high-precision machining processes.
  • Support manufacturing operations with engineering expertise to achieve weekly and monthly production targets.
  • Manage departmental budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) and control costs effectively.
  • Coordinate tooling design, CAD/CAM programs, job instructions, and tool room activities.
  • Work closely with Quality, Production, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance on RFQs (Requests for Quotation), cost estimation, new product introduction, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with API, ISO, and relevant regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in high-precision manufacturing environments.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Technical Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in CNC machining, metal cutting processes, tooling, and large high-precision parts (turning, milling, welding).
  • Solid knowledge of production planning, budgeting, and process optimisation.
  • Proven people management skills, including knowledge of Vietnamese labour regulations.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
