An exciting Senior Manufacturing Supervisor job has arisen in a leading manufacturer in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Senior Manufacturing Supervisor Role:
In this role, you are responsible for overseeing, developing, and ensuring the sustainability of all production activities, encompassing aspects such as safety, quality, service, productivity, engagement, and the development of competencies among Operators and leaders across all manufacturing areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and full execution of the company's systems across all manufacturing processes
Introduction and maintenance of digital tools within the production processes, while ensuring robust cyber security measures
Optimisation of manufacturing resources, consumables, and reduction of production wastes to enhance overall productivity
Upholding core values and leadership expectations within the team
Ensuring the shop floor is maintained in impeccable condition, following the principles of 5S.
Cultivating a safety-oriented culture and promoting safe behaviours, including monitoring and reporting of safety metrics
Focusing on quality through initiatives such as MDR (Material Discrepancy Reports), FPY (First Pass Yield), and advanced problem-solving methodologies
Ensuring on-time delivery to meet customer commitments
Management of Net Labour Productivities (DLP - Direct Labor Productivities) to improve operational efficiency
Oversight of stock accuracy within the production environment
Championing the sustainable implementation of Smart Factory 4.0 initiatives to drive manufacturing excellence
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Possess a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent field.
Bring five to eight years of experience in a related role
Demonstrate a strong understanding of production system, quality policy, and safety policy
Proficient in production flow management, skilled in supervision, possess in-depth product knowledge, fluent in English, and well-versed in Lean concepts
