Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager with a strong chemical background to oversee the production of NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) insulation. What you'll do:
As a Production Manager for NBR Insulation, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. You will be responsible for planning, organising, overseeing, and optimising the entire production process. Your leadership skills will be put to good use as you lead, mentor, train, guide, and collaborate with your team members. Your problem-solving abilities will be crucial in addressing operational challenges, implementing solutions, developing process improvements, troubleshooting issues alongside R&D and quality teams. Your meticulous nature will come into play as you maintain accurate records, prepare reports for management.
- Plan, organise, and oversee daily operations of NBR insulation production
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards and efficiency
- Monitor and optimise production processes to improve yield, reduce waste, and minimise downtime
- Lead and mentor production staff to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency goals
- Conduct training and provide guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Address operational challenges and implement solutions collaboratively with the team
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality
- Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in NBR insulation production
- Over 3 years of experience in managing production operations
- Familiarity with NBR insulation manufacturing processes, materials, equipment
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, handle multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written verbal to collaborate with cross-functional teams
