What you'll do:
As a Production Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the requirements for job safety, production, and quality are met and maintained. You will play a crucial role in training and developing employees to enhance safety processes, improve quality, reduce waste and cost. Your excellent communication skills will be put to use as you execute orders from the Operations Manager and relay these decisions effectively to operators. Your passion for manufacturing management will shine through as you provide on-site training of workshop management skills to team members. Your ability to handle pressure will be tested as you make daily production schedules based on superior level production plans, ETDs, and machine capacities.
- Ensure job safety, production, and quality requirements are met and maintained
- Train and develop employees to enhance safety processes, improve quality, reduce waste and cost
- Execute orders/decisions from Operation Manager and communicate them effectively to operators
- Provide on-site training of workshop management skills to team members
- Make & execute daily production schedule based on superior level production plan, ETD, and machine capacity
- Monitor machine utilizing status and arrange proper machine cleaning periodically
- Control process wastage, including wastage of yarn, packing material, lubricants and other consumables
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Production Manager role is a University Graduate with more than 5 years of experience in a related role. You should be proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint software which will aid in managing various aspects of the production process. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will enable you to effectively relay information across different levels within the organization. Your ability to develop healthy interpersonal relations will foster a positive working environment. As this role can be demanding at times, your excellent pressure resistance capability will be key in successfully managing the demands of this position.
