What you'll do:
As a Production Manager based in Binh Duong, you will play an instrumental role in orchestrating seamless manufacturing operations within a state-of-the-art facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve not only overseeing compliance with rigorous safety standards but also driving the adoption of best-in-class quality practices across all production lines. - Ensure all daily team activities strictly comply with company Environmental, Employee Health & Safety (EEHS) policies to maintain a safe and responsible workplace.
- Oversee production operations in alignment with the company’s quality management system and audit requirements, upholding the highest standards at every stage.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and New Product Introduction teams to implement robust quality methodologies such as FMEA, Six Sigma, and SPC for continuous process improvement.
- Plan, prepare, and allocate sufficient resources to meet monthly production KPIs including safety, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery according to strategic objectives.
- Lead and nurture the production team by developing skills required for operating and maintaining equipment used in producing metal and plastic parts based on engineering models and drawings.
- Work hand-in-hand with Supply Chain Management and support teams to create detailed monthly production plans and ensure their effective execution throughout each cycle.
- Monitor production areas daily, coordinate with support functions to address challenges promptly, and provide timely assistance to achieve key performance indicators such as failure rate reduction, output optimisation, OEE improvements, TEEP targets, WIP management, 5S implementation, and near-miss prevention.
- Champion LEAN projects by utilising tools like 5S, TPM, process levelling, and flow analysis to identify potential enhancements within production areas while managing structural changes effectively.
- Coordinate with technical teams for the rollout of new programmes including first article inspections (FA), new product introductions (NPI), inspection methods development, fixture design updates, and day-to-day CAM software programming.
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions during CNC machining operations by working closely with machinists, engineers, quality specialists, management teams, and other stakeholders.
