A leading mechanical manufacturing organisation in Binh Duong is seeking a Production Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of customer orders, upholding the highest standards of quality and operational excellence. This position offers you the opportunity to shape production processes across metal stamping, welding, and manual assembly, while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for your team. You will be empowered to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimise resource allocation, and nurture talent through hands-on training and mentorship. The company values your technical expertise and commitment to safety, providing you with the platform to make a meaningful impact on both day-to-day operations and long-term business success. Flexible working opportunities and ongoing training are part of their commitment to your professional growth.

What you'll do:

  • Plan for adequate manpower, machine availability, and tooling capacity by coordinating resources efficiently across all production lines.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data entry into the ERP system throughout every stage of the production process.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining workplace safety by enforcing KAIZEN principles and 5S standards on the shop floor.
  • Analyse production data, workflows, and process performance to identify opportunities for reducing waste, minimising machine idle time, and shortening setup times.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing projects and OEE optimisation efforts to boost productivity.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with established schedules to ensure reliable operation of all equipment.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and develop operators, technicians, and supervisors by providing regular feedback and coaching sessions.
  • Identify training needs within your team; prepare, propose, and deliver technical as well as leadership development programmes.
  • Enforce compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations at all times while reporting directly to the General Director.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field is required for this position.
  • Five to ten years’ experience in a similar production management role within a manufacturing environment—preferably involving metal stamping or metal processing—is essential.
  • A strong technical understanding of metal processing methods, tooling requirements, and production equipment is necessary for effective oversight.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) enables clear communication across departments.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills allow you to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, guide, train, and develop diverse production teams is highly valued.
  • A hands-on approach combined with a structured mindset ensures consistent results in daily operations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is considered a significant advantage for managing complex workflows efficiently.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 or IATF16949 processes is beneficial for maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) supports accurate reporting and analysis.
