Plant Manager
Overview
An international Tier-1 Automotive Supplier is looking to appoint a Plant Manager to lead its new Hai Phong facility.
This role holds full responsibility for plant operations, including production performance, cost control, quality systems, safety, and financial management. You will work closely with local leadership and the regional/parent organisation to ensure operational stability, compliance with international standards, and long-term workforce development.

What you’ll do
As Plant Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the manufacturing site. You will set operational targets, ensure cross-functional coordination, and maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. You will also oversee financial matters and represent the company in key external engagements when required.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead all plant operations and ensure departments align with company objectives.
- Set, communicate, and monitor targets for cost, quality, and production volume.
- Coordinate daily operations across functions to ensure efficient delivery.
- Provide guidance and direction to local management and department heads.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for safety and quality.
- Oversee financial matters and liaise with parent companies and banking partners.
- Drive succession planning, training, and career development across the plant.
- Represent the company (or delegate authority) in legal and major business matters.
- Establish, implement, and maintain SHE systems and ISO 14001 compliance.
- Ensure full adherence to quality systems, including IATF16949 standards.
What you bring
You are an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong operational and financial background. You are comfortable managing large teams, working with international standards, and balancing people development with performance delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or at least 10 years of senior management experience in manufacturing.
- Strong experience in plant operations and financial management.
- Solid knowledge of SHE systems and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Hands-on experience with IATF16949 or equivalent quality systems.
- Ability to lead, delegate, and support management teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills, including external and legal representation when required.
- Experience building structured training, succession planning, and inclusive workplace practices.
