An exciting Supplier Quality Engineer job has arisen in a leading manufacturing firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

About the Supplier Quality Engineer Role:

You will perform all of the duties required to protect the company against faulty and defective product. This role is the last line of defence before products are loaded and delivered directly to customers. You will conducts on-site inspections where, not only, our products are being inspected, but also the factory itself. These site visits are important because our presence keeps our manufacturers honest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Inspection Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for conducting product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards

• On-Site and Off-Site Inspections: Perform on-site inspections at manufacturing facilities and, when necessary, conduct off-site inspections by reviewing production samples provided by the factory for orders where on-site visits are not feasible
• Production Sample Evaluation: Examine production samples with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring they meet the required specifications. Maintain a systematic record of sample assessments
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare thorough inspection reports, including photographs, and upload them to the designated platform, ensuring that accurate records are maintained for reference
• Issue Resolution: Monitor the results of inspections and proactively follow up on any failed inspections. Collaborate with factory personnel to address and rectify identified issues, ensuring their non-recurrence.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with the factory's Quality Control team. Keep internal supplier and production management teams informed about the inspection outcomes and collaborate to address quality concerns

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experiences of fast consuming products in food service industry are preferred
• Minimum two to three years’ experience in similar field
• Fluent in English communication, oral and written. Mandarin will be a plus
• Ability to travel for work as required
• Self-motivated to produce results on its own
