Our client is seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Failure Analysis Manager to join their team in Ho Chi Minh.   • Lead a dynamic team in QA Reliability and Failure Analysis department
  • Implement reliability analysis, design, validation and assessment methods
  • Provide technical support to improve existing product reliability

What you'll do:

As a Reliability and Failure Analysis Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the product's reliability by developing and implementing various analysis methods. You will be responsible for managing the global failure analysis and reliability laboratory equipment. You will also coordinate cost reduction activities across different groups and departments of Operations locations.

  • Develop and implement reliability analysis, design, validation and assessment methods to support new product introductions
  • Work with customers on reliability tests alignment and development of tests that reflect environment in the field
  • Provide daily reliability support for R&D advising on accelerated tests, tests to failure
  • Perform reliability modeling and prediction
  • Perform root cause analysis for failures happened in reliability testing and field
  • Manage the global failure analysis and reliability laboratory equipment
  • Lead Six Sigma program in Operations
  • Support running Six Sigma projects
  • Coordinate, integrate, and manage cost reduction activities across different groups and departments of Operations locations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Reliability and Failure Analysis Manager position holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science/Applied Science or Engineering. They possess Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification. They are proficient in using Microsoft Office tools as well as statistical software like Minitab or JMP. Their professional experience includes at least 5 years in FA/REL laboratory management, product quality. They are proficient in English both in written and oral communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Applied Science (Physics, Chemistry) or Engineering (Materials, Metallurgical, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power point) and statistical software (Minitab, JMP, etc)
  • Proficient in FA equipment (SEM/EDX, FTIR, ToF-SIMS, FIB, Xsect, etc)
  • Proficient in English both written and oral communication
  • At least 5 years in FA/REL laboratory management, product quality and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
