What you'll do:
As a Quality & Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's engineering team. You will be responsible for leading key engineering projects, developing new products and suppliers, and supporting your team members in achieving their project goals. Your ability to plan, align work, direct work, optimise work processes, attract and develop talent will be crucial in this role. You will also handle change control related to product development, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Develop the engineering team and new products/suppliers
- Cascade company goals into team and individual goals, developing project plans and providing support to meet these goals
- Identify high-performance employees for succession planning and provide support for their development
- Lead key engineering related projects for companywide or high-risk product development projects, delivering good results
- Support teammates to ensure their projects/tasks run smoothly without negative impact on business
- Handle change control related to product development according to internal procedures ensuring compliance and effectiveness
- Implement process and product vigilance audit according to aligned schedule
What you bring:
The ideal Quality Engineering Manager will bring a wealth of experience in quality and engineering areas, with at least 8 years of experience under their belt in manufacturing and production environment. They will have spent at least 3 years in a people management role, demonstrating their ability to lead teams effectively. Their technical knowledge will be complemented by their strong interpersonal skills, including a high sense of urgency and the ability to build good relationships with others. They will also be proficient in English presentation skills.
