- Lead all tasks related to Quality Management
- Supervise and mentor the Quality Engineer
- Manage production departments in line with company goals
What you'll do:
As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our client's reputation for excellence. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing all tasks related to Quality Management. This includes ensuring that all departmental work aligns with customer expectations, determining quality policies alongside senior management, and carrying out quality activities accordingly. You will also have a significant role in production management, monitoring efficiency and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to identify training needs within your team and coordinate necessary training will be crucial to maintaining high standards of performance.
- Ensure all department work is carried out in a customer-oriented manner
- Determine quality policy, commitments, and targets together with senior management
- Carry out quality activities in line with determined Quality Policies
- Make decisions in final control processes where customer specifications are not fully defined
- Lead the preparation and execution of the Quality Manual and system procedures
- Represent customer companies and senior management on Quality and Reliability issues
- Manage production departments in line with goals set by the Management Team
- Monitor the efficiency of production departments and manage continuous improvement activities
- Identify training needs of employees in the department and coordinate necessary training
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Quality Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the automotive industry. With at least 8 years' experience in Quality Management and 5 years' experience leading teams, you have developed strong planning, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Your technical knowledge spans across IATF 16949 Quality System Information, MSA, SPC calibration information, FMEA, PPAP, and measurement techniques. Your ability to think analytically and lead a team will be key to your success in this role.
- Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering degree
- At least 8 years of experience in Quality management in the automotive industry
- At least 5 years of management experience
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques, 8D and A3 studies
- IATF 16949 Quality System Information and auditor knowledge
- MSA, SPC calibration information knowledge
- FMEA knowledge
- PPAP knowledge
