Our client, a renowned international manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality to join their team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your quality principles to processes, services, and products within a multinational context.

You will be instrumental in establishing systems that ensure the delivery of high-quality products and play a key role in formulating strategies for the next three years in line with the organisation's objectives.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Quality, you'll be pivotal in ensuring excellence across all operations. You'll establish systems for delivering high-quality products, collaborating with teams to set quality standards for new developments. Your role involves conducting audits to assess manufacturing quality against internal and regulatory criteria, while monitoring product development for adherence to these standards. You'll also formulate strategies aligned with organizational goals, oversee the Quality Program, and suggest corrective actions when needed. Additionally, you'll manage customer feedback on quality concerns and lead a team comprising the Quality Assurance Manager, Lab Services Manager, and Quality Control Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee quality principles in processes, services, and products.
  • Develop systems to ensure timely delivery of superior products.
  • Set quality standards for new product initiatives in collaboration with teams.
  • Conduct audits to ensure manufacturing quality meets established benchmarks.
  • Supervise product development to maintain quality compliance.
  • Design strategies supporting organizational objectives.
  • Partner with Senior Management on strategic planning and performance goals.
  • Manage the Quality Program and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Address customer feedback on quality issues.
  • Lead the Quality Assurance team effectively.


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Head of Quality position brings a wealth of experience from a similar capacity within a multinational manufacturing context. You possess excellent strategic thinking skills coupled with strong problem-solving abilities. Your comprehensive understanding of Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and ISO-9001 will be crucial in this role. You have a proven track record in modeling business processes using diverse tools and techniques. Your strong organizational abilities enable you to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment. You are skilled at building trust across all levels of the organization, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Degree in engineering in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a similar capacity within a multinational manufacturing context.
  • Excellent skills in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analysis.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and ISO-9001.
  • Proven track record in modeling business processes using diverse tools and techniques.
  • Strong organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive perspective while identifying critical details.
  • Skilled at building trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English.
