Our client is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to assist in developing top-tier product enhancements that deliver superior functional performance and great value to their customers. This role involves the development and implementation of the company’s Quality Assurance Program, ensuring the highest levels of product functionality, right quality, speed to market and maintaining consistent quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily activities of local field Supplier Quality Engineer and Inspection teams, supporting product development teams, and leading initiatives to develop preventative action plans.

What you'll do:
As a Director of Quality Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in assisting in developing best-in-class product enhancements that deliver superior functional performance and great value to our customers. You will be responsible for carrying out the development and implementation of our company’s Quality Assurance Program. Your role will involve coordinating daily activities of local field Supplier Quality Engineer and Inspection teams in Thailand. You will also support product development teams and execute targeted development calendars to ensure that product processes ultimately achieve performance, quality, and time-to-market goals.
- Ensure compliance with core company values and consistently drive improvement while championing transparent collaboration with other key stakeholders in the business.
- Visit partner vendors and maintain original factory relationships.
- Work closely with partner vendors, leading the development process for existing product performance improvements and quality enhancements.
- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Analyze data and identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to facilitate proactive decision-making and drive project success.
- Lead the inspection team to conduct HFT inspection rules and daily inspection work.
- Handle SCARs , NCs , close them just in time and validate the solutions in process.
What you bring:
As a Director of Quality Assurance, you bring a wealth of experience from your minimum 10 years in R&D, engineering, or new product development. You have a proven track record of successfully partnering with multiple cross-functional key stakeholders. Your strong leadership skills enable you to mentor and develop employees effectively. With your extensive problem-solving experience, you are able to navigate complex situations with ease. Your educational background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with your experience in managing the SQE team, QA team or engineering team, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin will be crucial in this role.

- Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
