  • Benefit from flexible working opportunities and ongoing training designed to support your professional development within a highly knowledgeable team.
  • Enjoy a collaborative workplace culture that values open communication, teamwork, and shared success across global functions.

What you'll do:

As Regional Quality Manager, you will play an instrumental role in upholding the highest standards of product safety, reliability, and compliance for goods sourced into the U.S. market. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around building and nurturing a skilled team dedicated to achieving ambitious quality targets while ensuring that all systems supporting vendor compliance are robustly implemented. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—both locally and internationally—to address challenges swiftly and effectively. By managing third-party laboratory partnerships and overseeing comprehensive inspection programmes, you will help guarantee that every product meets stringent specifications before reaching customers. Your ability to analyse data trends will drive continuous improvement efforts among vendors, while your commitment to transparent communication ensures that any issues are resolved promptly for lasting customer satisfaction.

  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing regional quality team to ensure all associates are equipped to deliver on quality objectives.
  • Implement, monitor, and optimise systems, processes, and procedures that uphold vendor compliance with both quality standards and corporate social responsibility metrics.
  • Oversee manufacturing specifications and certifications for products destined for the U.S. market, ensuring they meet all relevant legal and industry requirements.
  • Align pre-shipment inspection plans with global goals by coordinating thorough inspections according to established procedures.
  • Manage relationships with accredited third-party laboratories to facilitate factory audits, inspections, and testing services in line with company protocols.
  • Direct product compliance activities including third-party testing and verification to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Take ownership of customer quality complaints by coordinating defect analysis, root cause investigations, corrective action implementation, and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends and support vendors in improving product quality as well as manufacturing control processes.
  • Foster effective communication with internal teams and external partners to collaboratively resolve issues impacting product quality or compliance.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management to support evolving business needs.

What you bring:

To excel as Regional Quality Manager, you will bring substantial experience from senior roles within quality assurance or engineering—ideally gained in manufacturing settings related to building materials. Your educational background should include an advanced degree in mechanical or material engineering (or similar), equipping you with deep technical insight into product standards and compliance requirements. You are adept at leading large teams through periods of change while nurturing their professional growth through coaching and mentorship. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build trust-based relationships across cultures and functions; you communicate clearly whether resolving issues with vendors or presenting findings internally. A keen eye for process optimisation allows you to balance multiple projects efficiently while maintaining focus on long-term strategic goals. Above all else, your passion for continuous improvement ensures that every challenge becomes an opportunity for learning—and your dedication inspires those around you.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering is preferred for this position.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality assurance or engineering roles within manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of building material products such as plumbing fixtures, hardware components, pipes, valves, flanges, lighting solutions, or vanities is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of managing teams for at least 10 years with an emphasis on developing talent within diverse groups.
  • Exceptional communication skills enabling effective collaboration with sourcing teams, QA/QC professionals, vendors, and overseas colleagues alike.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both spoken and written English is required for successful cross-border interactions.
  • A proactive approach combined with a strong sense of responsibility when addressing complex technical challenges is vital.
  • Solid technical background allowing you to analyse problems thoroughly and implement practical solutions efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising attention to detail or deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel on business trips as needed to support operational objectives across different locations.
