A leading global technology manufacturer is looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen its supplier quality performance and drive excellence across critical materials used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing. This role places you at the centre of quality improvement, supplier collaboration, and new product development—supported by a highly experienced global team and flexible working arrangements.

About the Role
As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will own the quality assurance activities for essential
direct materials such as lead-frames, ceramics, substrates, tapes, mold compounds, wires,
and solder paste. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure every
component meets strict standards from early development through mass production.
You will lead audits, standardise processes across global sites, drive supplier improvement, and
play a key role in new product introduction by preventing defects before they occur.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end supplier quality engineering for critical direct materials.
• Set and implement robust quality control goals to meet manufacturing specifications.
• Support NPI projects and drive product quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee and guide the supplier quality team to achieve shared objectives.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and maintain compliance records.
• Standardise SQE/IQA processes across multiple global factories.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure sustained achievement of quality targets.
• Lead supplier qualification audits and drive corrective/preventive action plans.
• Collaborate with global commodity managers on cost-quality optimisation.
• Ensure suppliers implement built-in quality from development to mass production.
• Partner with manufacturing and R&D engineers to prioritise defect prevention.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related
field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in process, material, chemical engineering, supply chain,
or manufacturing quality.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, DFM/DFQ, control plans, and technical
drawings.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 / VDA 6.3; Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing or processes is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of process certification and robustness principles.
