Supplier Quality Manager (English + Chinese speaking preferred) Location: Binh Duong Salary: Competitive, based on experience

A leading global furniture manufacturer and retailer is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to oversee supplier quality across its Asian manufacturing network.

This role will focus on driving supplier quality improvement, managing the QA team, and ensuring products consistently meet customer standards. You will work closely with suppliers, internal manufacturing teams, and international stakeholders to strengthen quality performance across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the supplier quality assurance team, setting KPIs and monitoring performance.
  • Oversee supplier quality compliance and standards across manufacturing partners in Asia.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as A3, PDCA, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Analyse workflows and production data to identify process and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and quality metrics through internal quality systems.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and quality issues, working with global teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen operational processes.
  • Deliver training for QA/QC teams and suppliers to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Prepare quality performance reports to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality practices across operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management or continuous improvement within manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience managing teams (3+ members).
  • Strong knowledge of quality and continuous improvement tools, such as:
    • A3 Problem Solving
    • PDCA
    • Value Stream Mapping
    • 6S / Visual Management
    • Kaizen
    • Standard Work / JIT
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or CAD blueprints.
  • Experience working with suppliers and vendor quality management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience analysing performance data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-cultural environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
  • English proficiency preferred for working with international teams. Chinese proficiency is a big plus.
