Our client, a renowned industry leader, is seeking an Application Specialist to join their team in Dong Nai. What you'll do:

As an Application Specialist, your primary role will be to support our client's product applications and development within the pulp and paper industries across South East Asia. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise to the sales team, travelling as needed for on-site support, problem-solving, and training. Your ability to transfer new product/application developments and technology to the sales team will be crucial. Your hands-on experience in applying chemical products within these industries will be invaluable.

  • Provide technical expertise support to the sales team in the region
  • Travel as required for on-site support, problem-solving, and training
  • Act as the interface for transferring new product/application development and technology to the sales team
  • Work proactively and creatively as part of a team
  • Deliver technical presentations for business development and troubleshooting

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Application Specialist role will bring a wealth of experience from the pulp and paper industries. You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper Engineering, coupled with at least 5 years' experience working with chemical products. Your background should include a customer-facing role where you have delivered technical presentations for business development and troubleshooting. Your proactive, creative approach to work will be highly valued.

  • 5+ years of experience in chemicals product and application in pulp and paper industries
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
