What you'll do:

As a Technical Category Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of herbicide technology. Your primary responsibility will be to set and follow a regional technical strategy for all life cycle stages of Herbicides. You will coordinate all product development and New Product Development (NPD) trial projects at the country level, developing new product formulations and crop protection solution technologies that align with the regional and category strategy. Your role will also involve independently managing all technical aspects of development projects for herbicides. You will work closely with marketing leads to define and align herbicide strategies across countries in the region. Additionally, you will develop tools and processes to manage and interpret R&D data globally within the category.

• Set and follow a regional technical strategy for all life cycle stages of Herbicides
• Coordinate all product development and NPD trial projects at country level
• Develop new product formulations and crop protection solution technologies in alignment with the regional and category strategy
• Independently manage all technical aspects of development projects for herbicides
• Develop tools and processes to manage and interpret R&D data globally within the category
• Provide technical expertise and implement strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Technical Category Lead position brings over 10 years of experience in Product Development related to herbicides or Plant protection. You have worked extensively with ARM or related software for Data capturing. Your educational background includes a postgraduate degree in Agronomy/Agriculture, Plant protection or a related field, with a Ph.D being preferred. You are adept at conceiving new ideas, preparing protocols, arranging samples, visiting trials, analyzing data, and providing clear recommendations. Your experience includes coordinating with registration and R&D teams for dossier preparation and sample support. You are capable of providing new product application rate and method to the registration team.

• 10+ years experience in Product Development related to herbicides or Plant protection
• Experience in ARM or related software for Data capturing
• Postgraduate degree in Agronomy/Agriculture, Plant protection or related field (Ph.D preferred)
• Ability to conceive new ideas, prepare protocols, arrange samples, visit trials, analyze data, and provide clear recommendations
• Experience coordinating with registration team and R&D team for dossier preparation and sample support
• Ability to provide new product application rate and method to the registration team
