Our client is seeking a highly skilled Lead Colour Designer to join their dynamic team in Binh Duong Province. This role offers an exciting opportunity to supervise the operation of the Colour Lab independently, directly manage all Colorists/Color Lab Technicians, and interact effectively with managerial peers. The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritising work assignments for the Colour Lab to support customer service, manufacturing, sales, and technical operations.

What you'll do:

As a Lead Colour Designer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the effective operation of the Colour Lab. You will be entrusted with supervising all Colorists/Color Lab Technicians, ensuring that work assignments are prioritised effectively to support various business functions. Your role will also involve managing the color match process from start to finish, maintaining data integrity of product standards at the lab and plan level, and providing data to support sales and business projects. You will also participate as a member of the Quality Council team on behalf of the Color Lab.

  • Supervise colour lab employees and conduct performance reviews
  • Manage the color match process from receipt of request through match completion
  • Ensure coordination of standards and absolute readings are communicated to all necessary parties
  • Provide timely and accurate implementation and administration of CMRs, Bill of Materials (BOMs), product selection, sampling, complaints, and rematches
  • Compile and disseminate weekly reporting of VSC statistics to Vinyl Group
  • Develop and maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping conditions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Lead Colour Designer role brings extensive experience in Environmental, Health and Safety along with a strong background in R&D & Technology - Color Matching. Your problem-solving techniques will be put to good use as you navigate complex challenges within this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel is essential for success in this position. Your ability to multitask effectively while working independently or as part of a team will be highly valued.

  • Proficiency in Problem Solving Techniques
